an illustration

this is one of my works for my digital illustration final, tomorrow! i just finished it and i'm pretty satisfied about the result (which is rare).
surprise surprise, also inspired from la zad. it's a scene from the day after my birthday, when i was walking to one of the tents to refuge from the bad weather with my lunch, and a boy was playing beautiful jewish songs in his accordion.

zad was incredible. sharing music with more than a hundred other sambistas, playing the same tunes in the middle of the field from sunrise to sunset was one of the best experiences of my life. being in such a beautiful community with all those courageous people...
let me tell you, i took lots of photos. but, in assembly, it was decided that no photos could go online.

i'm working in a new roll, a double exposure film i'm doing with pedro!
meanwhile, i'm going to ZAD with the samba group to an internation meeting. have any of you been there, or going soon? we're leaving wednesday night (15th), and may arrive to nantes friday. the weather will be so rainy and cold, but our good energy will bring warmth to our hearts and the people we'll meet. we all can't wait to know the place, meet the community and protect the trees and the beautiful forest.
i'll take two or three rolls and develop them as soon as i arrive here, around the 24th.
